*MATTY GRANT is one of those gun names on the Australian DJ scene whose turbo-charged presence never fails to leave the mob screaming for more.
He started out 11 years ago playing records in some of the smaller clubs around town but now, at 28 years of age, the kid is very much the boss of the block.
He’s a regular in all the big joints in Melbourne, such as Boutique, Seven, and Eve and he’s also in demand beyond our shores, playing extensively in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the South Pacific and soon the USA.
His all-round knowledge and ability to read any crowd has always set him apart from the rest, both now and in the recent past at major venues throughout the country.
He’s renowned for his “Main Room Sound” but is also blessed with a vast musical knowledge, way beyond his years. He can mix it with the best, as his peers acknowledge, in most styles of music – from electro to house, old hip hop to funk and RNB to disco.
Wherever he has played in the world, he’s had massive crowds in a frenzy with his passion behind the decks and his music. His famous hands-in-the-air, big-room vocal house style is simply irresistible, at home or abroad.

A former member of Melbourne dance group Dirty Laundry, he is also working on his solo album and game-changing collaborations with LA-born music producer Aki Redbird, of Native Music. It is due to be released, with Nausz Music, soon.
